Is it possible to save a yahoo avatar as an animated gif?

I’ve been trying to figure out how to save my yahoo avatar as an animated gif. Has anyone found a way to do it?
I don’t want to add an animated gif as my yahoo avatar. I want to make a copy of my yahoo avatar to put on my geocities page.

You could get a free trial of Snagit, which can do a screencapture of just about anything.

You could also get the free Gadwin PrintScreen, take a bunch of screenshots in succession, and then edit them to put them together in sequence into an animated gif using something like UnFreeze.

That’s probably the only way to do it.

No, you are NOT allowed to post an animated gif as your Avatar with Yahoo Answers or with Yahoo Messenger.

Even if you tried to, it won’t be accepted.
