In Avatar the Last Airbender, did the avatar incarnation cycle got broken and will it come back?
In Avatar, Aang got killed in the avatar state by Azula and then the past avatars started to dissapear. But at the battle with the Fire Lord, Aang hit some rock and the avatar state came back. So does that mean that there will be more avatars or not? I’m really confused.
When Azula shot Aang with lightning in his Avatar state he could have died (luckily he was saved by Katara) but by dying in the avatar state the cycle could have been broken and it will cease to exist. In the fight with Ozai, when Aang was hit by the rock in his injury it kind of triggered the Avatar state and there will be more avatars cause he didnt die in the avatar state.

Yes, when Aang finally dies in there will be another Avatar, which will be a Water bender…then Earth, then Fire, which mimic the seasons, Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer.
