Heya guys, this tracks original name is ‘Mens mentis Novus’ it was originally released for evokeone.com for their exhibition ‘Zen’
Now thing is probably most of you heard who James Cameron is, and you have PROBABLy seen at least one of his creations Titanic, Aliens, Terminator 2 etc. 
Now Mr.James Cameron is expected todrop another multi-million dollar project on our heads in Late 2009. Its called Avatar and is expected to bring sci-fi movies to the new level. The buzz surrounding this film is ALREADY big and growing. Whats fantastic about this one already is that specifically for this film, James Cameron and his crew had to develop new technologies, innovations in camera work and also a new CG development called “Image Metrics”.

Avatar is an upcoming 3-D science fiction film directed by James Cameron, due to be released on December 18, 2009.
In director James Cameron’s original script treatment of Avatar, a man tries to make his way as a miner by combining with an alien during an interplanetary war in which aliens can manifest themselves by possessing human bodies avatars.
When Avatar was titled “Project 880″, a casting call was put out in June 2006 with a plot description provided, saying, “In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na’vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture.”
In December 2006, Cameron described Avatar as “a futuristic tale set on a planet 200 years hence [...] an old-fashioned jungle adventure with an environmental conscience [that] aspires to a mythic level of storytelling.”The January 2007 press release described the film: “Avatar is also an emotional journey of redemption and revolution. It is the story of a wounded ex-marine, thrust unwillingly into an effort to settle and exploit an exotic planet rich in bio-diversity, who eventually crosses over to lead the indigenous race in a battle for survival,” and “We’re creating an entire world, a complete ecosystem of phantasmagorical plants and creatures, and a native people with a rich culture and language.”

@TheUvers1 hey, I first listened to this particular music in December 2008, and yes it was already a fan-made music for Avatar. Just like shifforbrainz said, back then we had only two photos of the set, and both with James Cameron, one in front of an “Avatar connexion sarcophage” and one with Sam Worthington, that’s ALL ! And very few information about the story too, so one could think that the soundtrack would sound more “technologic”. Gosh, the creator already said that a few weeks ago !

Look at the post date, this was made well over a year in advance. Before anyone had any idea what the movie would look like or sound like, So yes you are right this music has nothing to do with the movie. But it was a good guess for being made back in 2008.

well there is no way of knowing that. I think the earth is no longer supporting anything at all. I think humans are supporting themselves by searching for other supplies in other planets.

its a metaphore because the planet is not ‘dead’. he meant that figurativly(did not spell that right i know..sue me).
a planet cannot just ‘die’. billions of people still live on earth……and guess what…the earth is still handeling it.
when he meant ‘killed there planet’. he meant as in there are not enough trees,water,plants,etc.
compared to pandora earth IS dead if you think of being alive as having a load of plants and ecosystems.

That was no metaphore. He says that they “killed their planet”. You’re talking in-movie, and in the movie, the humans killed their planet. No methaphores, maybe you didn’t see the movie?
And just that ONE source says climate change does not exist does not mean that that’s right. Maybe its true, maybe it’s not I don’t know and neither do you. But in the movie, it definitely WAS true.

you think just because the va’vi won against a small security force that they are better then humans???? AHAHAHAH…the na’vi faced a small human force and still was decimated. the only reason they ‘won’ was because of the ‘god-planet’.
