I have added a picture to my 360 profile and saved it, 50×50. It is a jpeg. What am I doing wrong?
Your avatar box is changed in size already which means that you did nothing wrong and that your picture is "on the way". During the past 3 days many users had problems with their 360° avatars, it currently seems to be one of those YA glitches that we can do nothing about…:-(
Why won’t my yahoo360 avatar show up on my yahoo answers avatar?
Who knows how to make an avatar for deviant art?
I keep trying, but it says I need to be the picture to be 50×50. I dont know how to do that….Infran View wont let me get those two numbers together
try to work on adobe photoshop. first, open a new layer that is sized 50×50. then, open the picture you want to make as an avatar. CTRL+A on the picture, CTRL+V (paste) on the 50×50 layer. Transform the size so it would fit the 50×50 layer. Save it as JPEG or PNG.
Good luck.
How do I put on an avatar on deviantart??
I dont have photoshop or anything… just paint. So i go to Images, the go to Stretch/Skew and make it 50×50; just like it says to on deviantart. But then I save it, and try to upload it, and its like the file is not 50×50. I go back, and see it went to 100×100. WTF!? How do I put an avatar up!? P.S. it’s not animated
thats gif format if animated so make sure it will fit to the given dimension required by deviant hehehehhe http://www.henyongbobo.deviantart.com/gallery/
How do I make this image 15 kb?
I’m trying to make one of my images into an avatar in photoshop and I’ve got it sized at 50×50 pixels. The file size is still 62 kb though and it wont upload unless it’s 15kb or under. It has to be a JPEG or GIF, any tips?
The best solution I can think of is "Save for Web and Devices." Choose this instead of save, and then choose your file format and image quality – you can experiment with these and see the results in the preview pane. I just built a flash file yesterday with some bitmap images whose dimensions were 650×300px and the average file size was only 18k. Hope this helps. Cheers!

an easy way would be to find a picture that you want and put it on paint to shrink it to the proper size and save it or you could search dragon ball z gifs
but the easiest way is to make your ouwn
is it for deviantart because then you should give me your adress so I can add you to my watch list

How do I make a photo smaller than 15KB???
An avatar image file should be a 50×50 px PNG, JPEG or GIF image that is smaller than 15 KB.
It may or may not be possible depending on the size and quality of the image.
To make it smaller, open the image in Paint (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint) – chances are, it’s saved in a format that takes up a lot of space, bmp is the most-common.
So, let’s save it in a lesser format and retain the image quality – click File > Save As.. – you’ll notice in the bottom-middle of the window it will say "Save as Type.." – click the down arrow and select .gif and click save.
Now that the image has been altered, try to upload it! You can double-check on it’s size by right-clicking on the file and selecting properties – it will be listed toward the bottom. If it’s still too large, you’ll probably have to use another picture.
Hope this helps!
Can anyone help with picture files?
I’m trying to save a picture as 50×50 (for an avatar), but my computer saves it only as 50×38. I’ve tried changing the dimensions etc but nothing seems to be working. Can anyone help?
The aspect is set making it so it will only save in aspect ratio ie. 50 x 38. OR the resolution is out. Turn off the aspect ratio or change the resolution to save as 50 x 50

Animated picture with photoshop elements?
I want to make a small 50×50 avatar using different pictures of me. I’ve looked up tutorials on how to make an animated GIF or whatever, but you need layers to do that.
Is there another way of doing it? If not, can you put different pictures as different layers? (If that makes sense…)
I just need some kind of walkthrough. D:
here is a tutorial for animating in photoshop elements
