How do I make my avatar for yahoo answers?
Does anyone remember Cycosmos the chat room where you could create a full avatar? You could be a cowboy or a biker and things. You were like little figures walking around the screen. I was Shotgun Pete.
This is not very difficult you can make your yahoo avatar very easily and this will work at all the yahoo applications for you. follow these instructions…..
1. open the webpage http://avataras.yahoo.com.
2. sign into it with your yahoo id
3. create your yahoo avatar with following yahoo! instructions.
4. your avatar for yahoo answers will be created.

If you have a Yahoo! Avatar, you can add it as a Personal Photo on Yahoo! Profiles.Whenever you change your avatar’s look on Yahoo! avatars, the changes will shown up on your profiles page. To add your avatar:
1. Click this link:- http://profiles.yahoo.com
2. Click the Change Photo link just to the right of the image
The Select Photo window opens. Initially, your only choices will be the gray square and your avatar, if you have one
3. Click the Add Photo link.
4. Click the Browse button and navigate through your computer’s file system until you find an image you want to upload.
5. Once you’ve chosen a photo file, click the Upload button to add it to the photos available for your profile.
A preview of the uploaded photo appears, including a dotted square outlining the currently selected portion of the image
6. Manipulate the selection square to enclose the part of the image you want to use.
7. When you’ve got the part of the image you want to use within the selection square, click the Crop button.
The newly added photo appears in your photo carousel.
8. Repeat steps 2 through 6 to add a whole gallery of photos to your carousel.
9. Go to your “edit my profile” http://answers.yahoo.com/my/my_edit click “use my yahoo profile picture” scroll down and press "preview", and then "OK" in the next screen.
And your done.

It takes time for the Y/A system to fully recognize changes to your 360 image. Please be patient. And it looks like it’s worked already.

How do I remove avatar from mail homepage?
Now my classic yahoo mail has added the avatar from my profile, along with a new ‘Today’ section below. How do I go back to the original classic yahoo mail? It is not related to unchecking the ‘enable connections’ function on the ‘general settings’ page. That is already unchecked.
If it says All New Mail at the top of the mail screen, then you are still in the classic mail, those are new editions and we can’t get rid of them.
