I don’t want the cartoon avatar to show. In it’s place I want a jpg pic.

you have to upload a picture to your yahoo profile.
then go to my team
edit team setting
change image
and select your picture.
done.

I know alot of people hate the new Avatars on the new Xbox experience, but I like them. I heard that an avatar clothing store is going up o Xbox live soon, with new animations, clothes, haircuts, etc. Anyone know when this might be?

All that I know from numerous gaming sites is that a avatar store will be up on LIVE sometime later this Spring. Also, rumors from these sites all are saying that IP’s might have unlockable clothing via achievements you get in a game…

I made the avatar but I can’t get it to my profile.

i have made an avatar all ready. But, i see other peoples avatar on yahoo answers and i wonder how they did it.

I deleted the avatar from 360 and it now shows the picture but the avatar hasn’t changed on the tool bar.
I restarted it and used refresh still shows the avatar.

Go to the following site:
http://avatars.yahoo.com/
or you could click the down arrow to the right of the avatar on the Y! toolbar, move mouse to signed in as, and click Customize avatar. Now on about the 4th or 5th line down on the right, click Preferences, click Delete Avatar.

I want my yahoo avatar to be full length so people can actually see what I am wearing. How do people do that it is so awesome.

I already had my avatar made, now I need to replace the default picture with the avatar.

on your YAnswers page, click on "My Profile" that’s on the upper right side of the page. Then click on "edit my information". ^_^
It will take a few days and up to 2 weeks for your new avatar to show up
