Avatar is an upcoming 3-D science fiction epic film directed by James Cameron, due to be released on December 18, 2009 by 20th Century Fox. This is Lightstorm Entertainment’s latest project.

The storys protagonist, Jake Sully, is a former Marine who was wounded and paralyzed from the waist down in combat on Earth. Jake is selected to participate in the Avatar program, which will give him a healthy body. Jake travels to Pandora, a lush rainforest-covered extraterrestrial moon filled with incredible life forms some beautiful, many terrifying. Pandora is also home to the Navi. They are a sentient humanoid race that humans consider primitive, but are actually more evolutionarily advanced than humans. Standing three meters tall, with tails and sparkling blue skin, the Navi live in harmony with their unspoiled world. As humans encroach deeper into Pandora’s forests in search of valuable minerals, the Navi unleash their formidable warrior abilities to defend their threatened existence.

Jake has unwittingly been recruited to become part of this encroachment. Since humans are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, they have created genetically-bred human-Navi hybrids known as Avatars. The Avatars are living, breathing bodies that are controlled by a human ‘driver’ through a technology that links the drivers mind to their Avatar body. On Pandora, through his Avatar body, Jake can be whole once again. Sent deep into Pandora’s jungles as a scout for the soldiers that will follow, Jake encounters many of Pandora’s beauties and dangers. There he meets a young Navi female, Neytiri, whose beauty is matched by her ferocity in battle.

Over time, Jake integrates himself into Neytiri’s clan, and begins to fall in love with her. As a result, Jake finds himself caught between the military-industrial forces of Earth, and the Navi forcing him to choose sides in an epic battle that will decide the fate of an entire world.

Because of my punishment i rushed this… I didnt mess with it in WMM D: like using my credits and at least a title scene … I just made it smaller and upload -sob-There shall be more Avatar vids though lol because its the only Kasha and Misha models I have lol untill… next month when i buy a transfer cable =_=
BTW if anyone wants to share how to make texture files for Haku and Miku and Neru that be nice… so i can add the stripes to the entire bodies… and the little florescent dots ;_;

I’m talking about all the little avatars portraying the Republican party as dead. Payback. Nuff said

What "payback"? Why do people treat politics as a joke? Why do they vote for people like Scott Brown just to get some warped "paybacks" on the the "dems", and because they think that he’s "hot"? No wonder people outside of the country call this country "stupid".

XNA Avatar Crowd Simulator

Crowd Simulator built using XNA 3.1, running on the Xbox 360 console. The application uses the Xbox avatars to represent agents in the scene. Agents uses a FSM to control their movements, collision avoidance to avoid scene obstacles and uses the A* search algorithm for pathfinding. The avatars are using custom animations for movement. The scene is rendered using a custom LOD (level of detail) system.

Do you think that the winking "avatars" people create for themselves are annoying and obnoxious? The typical one, white kid, crooked hat, one eye winking really gets to me, especially since these people seem to ask such unintelligent questions. What do you think, huh, huh, wink wink, nod, nod?
This question was MEANT for the aircraft section VG. "Methinks" that you might fit the stereotype quite well yourself with that friendly answer.

Agreed. It seems that those in the aviation section tend to be particularly annoying.
